Wanted: Founder’s Associate to build the next generation power company

🔋 About us

We’re building Capture Energy – Europe’s first battery-backed power company. With power grids creaking under intermittent renewables and surging electrification, the time is ripe for a new generation of power company.

Gen 1 was dirty but reliable and cheap. Gen 2 is clean but increasingly unreliable and uneconomical. Gen 3 brings it all together: power that’s cleaner, more reliable, and cheaper than ever. We are Europe’s first of this new generation.

We’re looking for builders who dare to take on giant incumbents, roll up their sleeves to tackle problems that don’t (yet) scale, and won’t settle for anything less than excellence.

As our Founder’s Associate and first full-time hire, you’ll work directly with the founders to steer the strategic direction of the company. We just secured seed funding from top investors, so there won't be a more exciting time to join!

👩‍💻 Your role

• Test 10x hypotheses which fundamentally shape the strategy of the company
• Execute special projects, such as securing our power supply license
• Provide hands-on support, such as when surge capacity is needed for sales

💡 What you bring

• Analytical firepower, with experience from a similar role at a startup or MBB consulting firm
• Exceptional adaptability, able to switch effortlessly between strategy, sales and ops
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where uncertainty is high and speed matters
• Intrinsic motivation to build a next gen power company from the ground up
• Experience in energy is a big plus
